I'm not sure why people still are expecting the CD continuing to run issue to be fixed with any current upgrade as BMW states that they do not expect a fix until March '07. See my post #39 in this thread.

There are 2 songs that move that are not on the CD??? What code are you guys using? Are you saying that there are 2 problems:

(1) the CD player keeps playing apparently never stopping (or, for example, just jumps way ahead to some other point) and

(2) the CD player keeps playing for about 2 songs (or, for example, justs jumps ahead about 2 songs.

If so, it seems to me that 23.01.00 might have fixed problem (1) partially leaving its artifact--problem (2).

My car was updated to vs 23 last week. Unfortunately, it did not resolve the cd player issue. It still plays when the car is off. Dissapointing.

I was just being a smart a**. I assume most know that the CD continues to play for some time. May be different number of cuts (songs) depending on when car goes to sleep. No CIP version has fixed this yet and will not until after March 07 according to BMW despite teh listing of the fix in several CIPs.

Now, try this for size: Has anyone had their car spontaneously self start? It's like this: I have Comfort Access (CA). I came back to work after lunch one day around 13:15 and went inside. When I came back out at 17:45, the car was running - don't know how long it had been running but it was HOT and the iDrive screen looked as if it had a fluorescent light behind - it looked translucent.
I "might" have had this happen. Went to a store (ok a liquor store...but I was stone sober I swear) - came out and the car was running. I figured I just forgot to turn it off, got out and locked the doors (darn CA, I mean it is possible.... even though I've never done ANYTHING like this).

So it "might" have happened - but I can't be sure.

@znod:

I also have Progman 23.xx now.

1. Please help me understand the wheel spinability issue better. I used to spin my wheels with DSC and DTC off in the past. Are you saying that it is not possible anymore with Progman 23, like DSC/DTC still controls the traction even if both are turned off?
2. What icons have changed? I read someone noticed new checkmarks. Can someone explain to me where?
