I got the same as in your picture, in addition I got the power socket in the boot as I have fold down seats.

I think fold down seats are an aftermarket option on the E60 so it might be worth asking your dealer if they could do anything even with the boot socket, you could run that to the back seat easily enough.

Hi,

The sun protect glass will render any radar detector useless as it blocks almost 70% of the radar signal.

Indeed, but when you get sun protected glass, there is an area in the front window to mount such devices, which will let all the beams pass right through.

Hi,

I have sun prot glass. The aperture that you speak off is to small and it's very hard (if not impossible) to mount a V1 or any other device with the suction mounts, and keep it in a level position.
The aperture is usefull for automatic payment systems such as "Viaverde" (available in Portugal and Spain)

Window film has not reduced the effectiveness of my V1. I had metallic film on the E39 and have ceramic film on the E60. It would be impossible to get anywhere within effective range from the rear with the sending unit turned on.

Firstly, the B2 is a gps and not radar based detector and in the uk, sun protect glass option just gives a heavily tinted side and rear windows, it is NOT the climate comfort windscreen which is pretty useless imho.
