I rode in a 2004 530d Touring taxi last week, that had 271,500km on it. The car was quite dirty (slushy, salty, wet driving conditions) so I can't comment on the exterior, but inside, it was as clean as my 2005 530d Toruing.
I asked the driver about the car, and he explained that they just do routine service from BMW, and the car runs as good as it did five years ago.
He laughed when I told him that my 2005 530d had only done 71,000km...

After the evaluation I learned that the car was not regularly serviced at original BMW service.
And they said me that the motor was murmuring and they have look it
So I am waiting for another second hand E60. Maybe 520i or 520d ?
