Hi ALL From Cape Cod 2nd 5 series ownah..
Well if you live in New England then that last storm that hit i lost my 98 E39
BUT!!!! i did just buy a 09 E60 535xi Very happy
i fell in love with BMW after i had a 04 CLK we got the 540i as a gift and i was so impressed with how much better this 98 was over the 04 i had..so when shepassed i had to get another but all wheel drive.. cant wait to take her home when i get back from my trip..

I had a similar situation to yours. I had a '97 E39 that had a tree fall on it (while I was driving no less! ) The car was driveable (and fixable in my opinion), but the insurance company totaled it. So I ended up with a CPO '07 530xi. I was in love with my E39 , but like the E60 much better. Both were/are manual transmissions, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
