So after being all excited thinking my errors would be gone my SA just called me "the floor mat recall is done but the airbag light is still on"

Any suggestions?

to my knowledge, for most people its the seat sensor that causes these error messages. so its in the seat

I'll throw my name into the hat...

I've had the twin warning lights (seatbelt, airbag) for a couple months now...

I emailed my dealer the TSB, and was told I was not a part of it

(2004 Canadian 545i)

Oh and this will be the third time I've had it put out.

I wish something can be done about this

The SA said it will cost $180 to diagnose te problem but he said chances are it's a shortage in te wire in the centre console..
Anybody have Any feedback on that?

Is it possible to just unplug the lights in my dash?
Is it bad to do..?
