Passenger Airbag Off Light - What LB Limit?

I know on our 2008 X5, a briefcase or shopping bags (wife) will set off the sensor and chime, so there must be some sort of adjustment for this!

i have the same problem. i think these are comfort seats too. my wife which weighs about 100 lbs sets the "passenger airbag off" light on.

im concerned about her safety or anyone driving shotguns safety.

my car isn't under warranty either, i also heard that even if its a recall issue, you'll have to pay to get it fixed =(
