If the scratches are on the outside this is not acceptable too flowerfred. The headlight should cope with some bugs, stones and bad weather.

Try placing a small piece of cloth between the base of the seat belt anchor of the driver's seat and the seat itself...........this should cure most of the noise coming from the seat.............it's pretty ridiculous that we have to resort to barbaric methods to fix our problems but hey, it works! Good luck and let me know how that works out.

well I stopped by the supplying dealer on my way to work.

they were very helpfull, car going in on 25th. Techy had a look at the lights, he said both headlight units need replacing and also pointed out that the fog lights were both full of condensation, I had not noticed that , so they will be replacing those too. also going to look at the drivers seat whilst its in having the lights done.

overall good service and I get an E60 530d as a loaner

if they fix it I will car not going in till 25th.

i saw a post on this forum that stated problem with squeak doors is resolved by a process of using the BMW silicone remover and then applying carbaflo, a lot of the US forum members have had this work done.

Question, any UK/Euro members had carbaflo applied ? I mentioned it to dealer today....blank looks on the face of the service advisors, look like i might need to print off the US service bulletin and take it in with me.
