New Software Upgrade Issues
#1
I just had my dealer update the software on my '05 545i. Here are some issues that I've encountered:
(1) Address book function in navigation no longer works well (can't store or edit new addresses, also very slow to see any changes)
(2) I have active steering, and after the upgrade, I noticed that my steering wheel is off-center (probably about 10 degrees). Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a simple solution to fix this.
Thanks.

My active steering was supposedly reset by the dealer.

There is a step in any updating CIP asking the operator to fine align steering wheel (if you have AS of course), it's a very sensitive alignment, I saw with my eyes.
My operator first turned a bit steering wheel but he had no sufficient sensitivity, then he moved a bit directly the wheel with hands and all setting was ok.

That's interesting. My steering wheel is slight off center to the left, but the wheels alignement is fine and the car keeps its track without any deviation. Does it mean that the dealer has to fine adjust the steering wheel? Now that I recall it, I first noticed it after my first software upgrading!
