There's a new price list posted on Bimmerfest for E60's effective 9/1 (see stickie). Added High Beam Assist ($250 MSRP, $230 Invoice), and lowered the price of HD radio from $500 MSRP/$450 Invoice to $350 MSRP/$315 Invoice.

HD price lowering is great for those after 9/1, bad for pre-September 1 orders (like me).

I really like HD, with logic-7 it sounds pretty good, I think you'll like it.
When I saw your post I thought BMW raised the base price of the car due to Euro vs dollar thing.

 

Me too, but no, base prices are the same. The only changes are as noted (unless I missed someting).

New only. I don't believe BMW "adds packages" to previously manufactured cars.

I have ordered high beam assistant on my new 535d, and the cost was ?95. That is about $190. That means, IT'S CHEAPER IN THE UK THAN IT IS IN THE US !!!!

Quick, everyone in the UK, order high beam assistant so we can all point and laugh at the ridiculous prices our US comrades have to pay for that option

 

US price is without the high VAT tax (which we don't have, just low sales taxes in comparison to VAT). What's your price with VAT?

That price already includes VAT of 17.5%.
