It almost seems like common sense that the GT is what the sedan will look like as well. Doyou think they'd make something completely different for the sedan?? We're getting that ugly hunk of metal. That is the next 5er. I knew it as soon as the GT was unveiled. Glad I got the e60.

The grille is too large in relation to the lights. It looks like a 5 grille grafted on to a new 3 series IMHO.
Personally I liked the E60 from inception.

I think the E39 LCI models were one of the best looking BMWs, possibly car, ever made. The E60 was radical, but it still works. I'll also say the last generation of 7ers was one of the best looking ones. The F01 had its looks grow on me, but the F10 GT has been out for some time now, and it still hasn't. I don't care, I won't be getting it, but I think it will be a design miss and take away from BMW's appeal.
Yah I agree..but then again, it might grow on me after awhile..which is why I have decided to keep the E60 till the F10 goes into its mid life facelift sometime in 2014 (assuming its launched in 2010)..so tat would be a nice time to get one if I am already used to the looks.
And E39 still rocks IMO..and I think its design is still better than the E60 in terms of its sex appeal...

i still love my current 535, and this new one make my love my 535 even more
If BMW goes with this front end for the 5 sedan, we should thank them for increasing the residual values of our E60's.
