New 5 Series front end
#24
It almost seems like common sense that the GT is what the sedan will look like as well. Doyou think they'd make something completely different for the sedan?? We're getting that ugly hunk of metal. That is the next 5er. I knew it as soon as the GT was unveiled. Glad I got the e60.

Looks like some sort of rodent. If you can't fall in love instantly then the designer did not do their job. Maybe they'll take subarus example and completely change the ugly stuff like they did on the tribeca.

I think it would look pretty good in a different color!

Man hold on you guys. Most of you griped when the E12 begot the E28, and then the world was going to end when the E28 sired the E34, and then Armageddon came when the E-39 was replaced by the 60. Seriously, no matter how much we hate the new look of the new series, it grows on you. Really, put the 39 up against the 60 and I rest the case.

I think the E39 LCI models were one of the best looking BMWs, possibly car, ever made. The E60 was radical, but it still works. I'll also say the last generation of 7ers was one of the best looking ones. The F01 had its looks grow on me, but the F10 GT has been out for some time now, and it still hasn't. I don't care, I won't be getting it, but I think it will be a design miss and take away from BMW's appeal.
