My friend...other temperatures are incorrect!
Engine and coolant temperatures are 50 Fahrenheit (10 Celsius) after 30 minutes of driving.
Where o who is the ECU that control temperatures?
pls help me...

Thanks my friend
You think that thermostat was stuck..but it's normal that all temperatures are very low (-7 Celsius air intake, 20 Celsius engine temperature, 20 Celsius coolant temperature) with a open thermostat? Could be that my INPA write Fahrenheit but was Celsius? In that case, temperatures are right for an open thermostat (20 Celsius air intake, 50 Celsius engine and 50 Celsius coolant)?

To verify use a infrared thermo on the hoses. If your engine is not getting up to temp just change the thermo. I don't troubleshoot things like that through INPA because there's quicker tools for that.

Hello aadriann, Misterpeppe, and seanjordan20! I'm hoping someone here among this thread has since solved their AC issue in their E60 as I am having the identical issues outlined in this thread. I have carried out the exact same troubleshooting that was recommended here and I am still left with the same high speed aux fan at startup/running along with no AC apart from commanding the compressor on via INPA which bypasses the pressure switch and control unit. I have replaced the pressure sensor with an OEM part, had the AC system flushed, oiled, and recharged to the specifications on the underhood sticker. Yet I continue to experience these exact same issues that are so very well documented above. Has anyone in this thread figured out what the issue with their AC system is, hopefully was? Please feel free to reply to my thread post directly or message me privately via email. I'm stateside in the south and it is getting hotter with each passing day as we approach summer time. I'd really like to get my AC system back functioning like the well oiled machine it was when it was new. Looking forward to seeing your replies here!

Smile AC Issue INPA Value Pages

I'm attaching my findings by going into the value pages within INPA. I hope these help shed some light on what might be going on in my situation.
