Need Help With A/C pressure sensor
Hello guys.
My car (e60, 525d, 2004) have some problems with A/C system.
3 days ago, he went perfectly, but suddenly (when I start the engine) the fan started to go at full capacity and the A/C not blowing cold air.
Now, when I turn on the ignition, the fan starts at full capacity and you have the impression that the car is ready to take flight. The air conditioning is not working and the car is blowing just hot air.
I have the following error:
9C5E - IHKA: Refrigerant pressure sensor.
Does anyone know where is located this sensor or how to fix this problem?
Thank you

Hello everyone...
aadriann have you solved problem of your car?
I have same problem, fan start at max speed about 10seconds after start engine, problems with air conditioning (car blowing not cold air), error code 9c5e with diagnostic tools and no one can help me.
I replaced yet the refrigerant pressure sensor, check the air conditioning system pipes (all ok) but nothing solved...fan start and no cold air conditioning!
Could you tell me how to solve (or give me some ideas to solve)?
My car is a BMW E61, 525d 177hp 2005.
Thanks a lot

What brand sensor did you get and are you sure there's not too much Freon in the system

I don't remember brand but I have box (I'll tell you).
To replace sensor, I removed all old Freon, change part, and recharged Freon (in my car 0,700 kg of gas). Air conditioning circuit is perfect.
After that I removed code error but not solved, after start the engine fan is stated again and code error 9c5e back again!
I attach the screenshot of a tool for Android that told me which problems could be.

Did you do a visual check on sensor wire to make sure there wasn't a break? Have you check the relay to make sure it is good. Are the IHKA buttons lighting up. There's not much to check form the fuse box to the compressor. I'm focusing on the fan going at full speed letting you know something is wrong with the cooling system. What are the other 2 error codes listed.

Code errors are only 2 in air conditioning, 9c5e and 9c55. In picture attached I removed other sensors to understand. 9c55 is the fogging sensor and I have this since 2 years.
All light buttons and functions of IHKA are ok but no cold air blower and fan start because I think that system go to recovery.
How to check the wires of pressure sensor of refrigerant?... I know where is the last connector (is on the pressure sensor) but where is the first?it's very hard follow the wires because I can't look (it's covered) and I have no idea!
Could you help me?
Many thanks!

You would do a visual check of the connector and wiring as far back as possible. Then you would put a voltage meter on it to see if you're get power when a/c is on.
Is there any other codes that your car has? Many things can shut down the system and I want to get the whole picture.
If you are able to engage the compressor via relay then it's something between the relay and compressor.
You are .11kg off on your fill. Add the missing Freon before any more troubleshooting to see if it makes a difference. I'm thinking it will get you back going unless your sensor is still the issue
