I reset the xsmn every week on Sunday- All of the 6HP26 weirdness I dealt with initially isn't there now. Must-do for all e60ers.

I can't get this to work. I get in the car (comfort access), and push the start button twice without pressing the brake. The electronics are on, including the air conditioner, and I stand on the gas for 60 seconds. No click, no noticeable performance change - what am I doing wrong?

That makes so much sense... Hence, it would do the same thing if you were to redline your engine for 25 seconds

How did you get the scale of 1-9?

If you leave your car head lights in the auto mode.

Next time you walk up to the car and press the unlock button the headlights/halos will turn on and stay on. Espcially if you have changed the halos to angel eyes.

The rear lights and the side marker lights also stay on when you unlock the car.

It's more to better explain the different levels of transmission responses.

I have a 2004 and fairly certain that the compartment is designed to store an extra CD tray for your CD Changer. Remember what those were? Now I use it to store a pint of Jack Daniels when I get the bill from the mechanic!

It's the space where the DVD player would go for Nav.

+1

The AE's definitely look great after I put in the Lux H8 V3 LEDs. You can also change how long the welcome lights stay on in your Idrive menu.

1) The other day I picked up my car at the dealer's after service. For whatever reason, I started voice control and asked to start navigation and guidance started to my home address. I did not use the navi going to the dealer, and I sure did not need it or enter it to get home.

2) I was almost home, when making a left turn into my neighborhood, a woman shot out in front of me and only a heavy slamming on the brakes prevented an accident. The airbag did not pop, but my Sirius radio came on by itself.

Did I stumble onto 2 new "features"?
