Well after waiting almost two months for a replacement HIP module (?) which was on back order from Germany, the GPS is still screwed up (veered off course again immediately after driving it off the dealer lot!). Dealer claims they performed the recommended procedures outlined in the TSB but to no avail so the car is back in the shop. This is getting very old particularly since this problem hasn't been fixed by two different dealers and I've had the car for 14 months. GPS isn't rocket science and you'd think BMW would get this right on a $67k car :-(
