Default My rear aux broke need help!

so the other day my little princess sits in the back seat and decides my aux cable was a foot rest, now the aux input is very loose and the sound is off unless i hold the cable input at a certain angle... I tried removing the rear ac vent and panel that holds the cig lighter and ended up breaking all the little clips... besides that i was wondering if i ordered the aux input kit where you have to plug in to the rear of the CCC unit would i be able to? i have on 08 535xi with navigation... I've seen plenty of videos doing so but these people never had an aux input and were installing one... would the 3 pins be available or already in use? i need my aux input really bad and i want to do this myself without having to go to a sound shop or the dealer please help thanks again!

go to any electronic store and pick up a 3.5 mm female headphone jack, and replace your current one. I know it's only 3 wires, so you'll have to trace them and make sure you solder them back on properly.

the part looks something like this..
Amazon.com: 3.5mm Stereo Panel Mount Jack: Electronics Amazon.com: 3.5mm Stereo Panel Mount Jack: Electronics
