CCC retrofit coding. New CCC has low bass
Good day all,
I just replaced my mask unit and small CID with CCC and big CID units. What I noticed that sound I have is slightly louder and maybe even clearer but bass is very weak. I checked speakers underneath front seats and can tell that they are working, but possibly not as good as before.
I'm assuming that CCC came from system which had amplifier installed. Or as forum member BenAnd suggested from BMW with Hi-Fi system. I'm guessing that it could have impact on sound quality as my BMW don't have amplifier.
Question I would like to ask is- what VO I should add or what coding should I apply in order for CCC to void amplifier.
Also I have an option in iDrive which let's control strength of seat heating. Since my seats don't have heating I would like to remove this option. Does anyone knows what code should be applied?
Sorry if those questions were asked before. I spent more than few hours straight looking at all possible forums but can't found this info.
Thanks for your time
Dom

Just default code it, it will pick up your car's vehicle order automatically
Edit: add $609 to your car's VO, remove $606 if you have it
Then default code and it'll set itself to every option your car has

Sanjsanj,
What would be steps to default code it? I read many guys in forum saying same but how to do that I don't get it.
I will give a little background what I did tonight. I was trying to properly code unit till 3:00am and still no luck. What I did was:
Added $609 in VO in both CAD and LMA. When those 2x were added now I can see:
-*CGATE
- CHOST
- CAUD
- CTUNE
- CAPPL
but... I was not able to modify any of those because of error message:
Error in CABD! Look at CABi.err and error.log
COAPi-2041 Wrong ECU coding index codierdaten_lesen
All other modules are can be modified fine.
Also I read in other articles that I would need to change content of .man file to blank(empty) file and code this.man file from NCS (assuming to change work type to SG_Codieren and executing job)? Is is default coding?
What I noticed that .man file in most instances was empty anyway. I think that when I changed functions in .trc file than content of .man file changes?
As you can see I'm not very clear how it works.
Thanks in advance
Dom
