While leaning in the window looking for the airbag warning sticker (which isn?t there) you might get trapped by the automatic folding mirror and be crushed by the window closing after inadvertently pushing the button on the remote in your pocket. You could die!

It's actually not that bad, I just tried it today.
But I totally agree that one button would be better!!
Another option for one of the programmable steering wheel buttons?

I don't know... I think you would accidentally hit it if it was on the steering wheel.

Hmm, could be dangerous also, I guess. Maybe not such a good idea.

How about a warning for a few seconds when you remove the key from the ignition with windows/sunroof open - something like press i-drive to close or ignore to leave open?

Really??? I've never seen it. Where is it located? And in what models? That's a major point in MB's favor for me. Now their handling, that's another story...
i think it's the air-circulation button. just need to press and hold it down. i think all models have the same feature. not too many people know about this .
