I dropped in to my dealer today to book the car in for a service and s/w update to enable mp3 playback. After searching through a manual they advised that mp3 update was only available for car built after September 04 for cars with bus nav/prof radio and as my car is an August 03 build the s/w update would not get me mp3. I have asked them to send a Puma to BMW in Bracknell to find out if there is any way that it can be sorted.

Just wondered if anyone else has come across this issue or if any of you have got mp3 playback on early build cars with bus nav/ prpf radio.

Just wondering if anybody suffers from wind noise at speeds in excess of 70mph from the sunroof when closed, this noise is dramatically reduced with the interior cover closed, my car has been in for new sunroof seals, but this has not seemed to have improved this at all. It's getting rather tiresome keep asking the dealer to look at the same problem time and time again, he tends to think that this is acceptable...
