Just received this info from my dealer this afternoon:

"Release of the BMW Individual Collection for the 5 Series Saloon "

We are pleased to confirm that the Individual Collection for the 5 Series
Saloon is now available to order with immediate effect.

The Individual offer for the 5 Series follows the same strategy as for the 7
Series, so is in the form of 'Equipment Packages' featuring three different
levels of Individual interior and exterior content. Please note that
Equipment Packages Two and Three will be available with immediate effect for
the 5 Series Saloon, with the introduction of Equipment Package One (ie,
with the highest level of Individual content) and the Individual collection
for 5 Series Touring planned for introduction from October SOP.


The content for the Equipment Package One is still to be confirmed, but is
likely to include full Merino leather, Alcantara Headlining and the
Individual V-Spoke wheel in addition to Equipment Package Two.


In addition to the Equipment Packages detailed above, Individual are also
offering a range of further options, however please note that these are only
available in conjunction with either Equipment Package Two or Three.


- Individual light alloy wheels, V-spoke style 152 I 8Jx18 with 245/40 R18
run flat tyres.


- Bi-colour steering wheel

This is available to order in Platinum, Ecru or Champagne in conjunction
with option 255, Sport Steering Wheel.


- Individual DVD system

Planned introduction for this system is 10/04, however exact system details,
pricing and start of production are yet to be confirmed."

5 Series Sport

"We are pleased to announce the release of the 5 Series Saloon and Touring
Sport models, which are available for all engine variants within the 5
Series model range.


5 Series Sport models will be available to order from Monday 26 July and
production will commence from Week 36, 2004.


535d Sport Model production commences from Week 40, 2004.

<_< Interesting....I notice that the 535d is priced too much below the 540i.
I would guess that would probably also be the case if the 535d was available here in the States as well.

Now, that M sport kit looks REALLY good on the E60.

I want one on my car: Looks much more sporty. Rear skirt looks much better than the standard on. Front spoiler - very agressive
