No unfortunately only the HPFP is covered under the warranty not the LPFP.

Got quoted $700 to replace the LPFP sensor at dealership, it's a $65 part...pretty ridic.
Already ordered the part, just gotta figure out where it's located now.

Hey

I forced my dealer to do this under goodwill. The SIB for HPFP clearly states change the LPFP sensor if faulty. Which means:
1. If it was changed on your car during any recall work, it is covered for 2 years from the date it was changed.
2. If it wasn't changed, they should do it now and it probably failed coz it wasn't changed.

I had a big argument and they did it. Here is the link to the SIB.

Yeah the hpfp and low pressure sensor were both replaced under recall but was back in 09, they are telling me it has been more than 2 years and they cannot replace it again for free. The thing I don't understand is if the low pressure sensor is related to the hpfp and both of these parts seem to fail due to the same issues, why isn't the low pressure sensor also covered under the 100,000 mile warranty.

Hey, there is a DIY on here I saw it after I had mine done. Not that I would have changed it myself but. What about a INDY shop? They have to be cheaper than the Stealer!

Found It - https://5series.net/forums/diy-do-yo...or-n54-124086/
