I'm only 18 and i have a 2006 Bmw 530i sport and premium package. i been reading post in the forum and its very interesting to see how creative everyone can be,but i was wondering about my car.. The car is paid off and i was wondering will the insurance kill my wallet??
Welcome to the forum!
I am not sure where you live, I can only speak for Florida and your insurance will be a killer...having said that just prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Let us know how it will turn up, just out of curiosity...

Wow!! That's pretty low. Does that include adequate liability?
250/500 for everything. I also have it covered with an umbrella policy.

Lets not forget the 25% Ca$Hback bonus I get every year as well as long as I stay claim free.

Jon thats fairly good man!
I'm 22 and pay ?1500 GBP p/a for fully comprehensive cover on a 523!. But that enables me to drive any car in my families fleet policy (& vice versa)
That's a good one too mate! My insurance is purely private, so i'm assuming different to yours. Company policy?? Who are you insured through? I also have a company policy, but that's for my company only, and i don't put the M5 on it. I have 30 cars on the company policy though, so if i'm ever stuck for a car, i can easily get my hands on one! Currently got a 2008 58 plate 525D M Sport in Carbon Black whilst my car is being fixed! Had to have a fleet of E60's didn't it!!

Haha Jon is rollin' the E60's!
Ours is a family policy through Norwich Union, but its brokered through the company that covers our family business so we get a good rate due to the extent of our commercial cover.
I tried numerous private quotes, and although a few were better, they didnt give me the option of any car, any time. Still, the majority of the quotes were higher.

How you liking the LCI compared to the M? (Maybe we should continue this in the UK Forum lol)

Only real way to know is to call your insurance. There are a bunch of different factors that determine what your rate will be. Vehicle, age, driving record, state and county, etc

I'm under parents plan and I pay $260 a month. I'm 20.
**** I just realized I'm paying over $3000 a year!
I was able to get a discount because of my grades while I was in college. See if your insurance offers that and if they offer a further reduction if you take a safe driver course.
