Hey, who's your farmers agent and will he give me the same deal? I've been shopping around and best deal I can find is $388/6mos for 300/100 full comprehensive 500/deduct coverage.

Thats not true at all.....I have USAA, one of the best out there, and I pay around $300 every 6 months ($50 a month) for 100% full coverage, with a $500 deductible.

There are some shady companies out there though....go with any of the "BIG" name ones, and you should be alright
Do you have to be in the military to be able to use that company?

USAA / Welcome to USAA

Have to have been in the US military or retired, or married to someone who was once in the military and acquired services from USAA, or the child of someone who has USAA.

Congrats on your car!! You will find that the car will become your addiction.

As for insurance I know that I pay $265 a month with Geico and in my 17 years of driving I have had 1 speeding ticket due to a one block spead trap on Jericho Tpke, LI and no accidents (fingers crossed and knocking on wood haha). It all depends on your age, sex, marital and location. I'm 32, F, S and living in NY so I think thats why I pay so much. Call a few places and get some quotes and i even think there is a website online if you google it that you enter information about yourself / car and you will get quotes instantly from numerous insurance providers.

Good luck with your new toy!!!
