I just pulled mine off, sprayed them matte black and stuck them back on. Looks great and cost me nothing.

I like my car's badge and wear it with pride. But there is no right answer to whether to debadge or not.

Definitely a matter of personal opinion. I debadge all my cars, don't matter who the make or model. It's just a cleaner look.

Besides, the only people that know the difference are the ones that actually know these cars anyway. (I doubt the average person can tell the difference between a 520d vs. 550i anyway) With that in mind, who are you really trying to impress

Am I being anal because I don't want people to think its a 525i or 530i? lol gimme some criticism if needed and be honest
and what's wrong with 525?

+1 for 666i

Yeah, I don't know if this should be such an issue.

Like someone said before, its a BMW. And as long as its well kept and you are happy then it doesn't matter.
I debadged last week, days after getting my 535i. And if I had known how easy it was, I'd have done it to my G35 as well! lol

Just try it and get new numbers if you don't like it in the end. Not like they're expensive.

In fact, you should go from debadged to re-badged every other week just for the hell of it!!!!!
