Immaterial of what series you have, I think it looks clean without the badge. Besides outside of this forum no one really thinks about stuff on that level anyway. even if ur driving a 520i its still a $50k+ car so who really cares. I say shave it, it looks nice with nothing in the back.

Who cares what other people think. I've been debadged for a while. If one knows where to look they can tell I have a 535i. It's your car. Do what you want. 4 pieces of plastic means nothing.

I've actually thought about badging my car again as well , but i dont want black or chrome badges. I've looked to see if there were any white badges floating around but I think I have to resort to sanding down a 545 badge and spraying it to match my color code. Has anybody seen any badges that have been sprayed to match the car? Not sure how it will look but in the back of my head I wanna do it just cuz I haven't seen it and it will still give it a clean look since you wont see it as much. Any thoughts? ![](https://5series.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/confused.gif)

I debadged mine lil over a month ago and won't go back. I'm happy with the clean look and it makes people wonder. Yesterday I was driving down to meet with another forum member and some mid-aged guy starts taunting me in his corolla. I started thinking like the NFL guys when the do their "Common Man!" yeah, I didn't feel like wasting gas. Anyway, back to debadging. If you want to do it try it out, you can always put black matte ones on.

Go with your gut, you can always switch up the badges so it's not permanent which is nice.
I always was 50/50 on the debadged look. In a way it looks cleaner, but looks odd without any emblem.
BTW, I just checked out Bimmian and ordered a set of matte black emblems and they are 50% off right now woot. Add this code on top of it for another 10%: 048F08.
I couldn't resist even though shipping cost as much as the product itself...
