08 535i rear differential fluid change

Default 08 535i rear differential fluid change

I went under my car I only see 1 drain hole, so what kind tool to suck the oil out and fill?

I got a universal use fluid pump from harbor freight, looks like this:

Multi-Use Transfer Pump

You should have 2 plugs in the differential. One on the passenger side, fill, and a drain plug towards the bottom of the rear cover plate. The drain is nestled in amongst the alunimum cooling fins.

Not on an '08 535i.
