Color of the home page CAN be changed. Remember color pixels consists of Red, Blue and Green? Disable or cut one of those signals and you'll have a unique color on the planet. 
Please don't try this at home.

I suspect that the photos you have seen showing I drive screen looking blue are photos taken with a flash which makes the normal brown display look blue.

[/quote]I think I've seen pictures of Individual cars that has a different color, but that might have been just the pictures.. polarized lenses and flashes tend to alter colors a bit.

Go into MAIN MENU - CAR SETTINGS - TURN DISPLAY OFF>
Then print these Photoshop versions. Then cut along the dotted lines and place in the screen (BluTack works well)
