How many seconds for mirrors to fold and un-fold

I could be wrong with your car being Canadian, but I don't think North American cars got this feature until the LCI (2008) model was introduced... I know it wasn't available on my 2004 545.

Right, I know it was on the M5 in North America before it was offered on the non-M5 E60. But he could have it. As other have pointed out, the button on the armrest by the side mirror adjustment is what he needs to look for.

But back to the OP's question. On my 2008 550, it takes about three seconds to fold or unfold the mirrors...
