How long did it take you guys to get used to Active Steering?

+1 So true... It would usually take me a good 5-10 mins to get use to the steering on my other car and the wife's car. I refuse to buy another BMW without this option. It's a must!

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.

I test drove a 525i with Active Steering and it is irritating! It feels like it doesn't give me full control of the wheel. AS just keeps on kicking in! I will definitely not get this option!!!

Do you guys honestly love this Active Steering?
Took me one turn.....the first turn out of the parking lot. Don't really notice any difference with going from the family SUV to this car, except that the steering is very responsive.
