Keith you are a veteran of China, i agree on all your points!
Taiwan is ok, but most Taiwan are made in China nowadays, but stricter qc.
i also had the Type IV taiwan wheel Capt, remember we compared them and yours was much better with a bigger lip?? i had vibrations and in the end got rid of them and got Breytons, which were heavy but heavy duty, no issues.
my friend has alloy wheel factories in China basically the quality is ok for normal daily use on higher profile tyres, but once you start using lower profiles and lowered suspension and hard cornering +potholes(which we do)then the stress is a bit much and he doesn't recommend it, he has had broken and fractured wheels returned to him as a complaint and hairline fractures are also found when people start to mod their cars (yes they do in China)
if anyone wants to buy a truck load let me know
i think that anything >1000 is ok, try the style first and upgrade to different styles when you want to,
newbies go for it, change the look of the car immediately!!![](https://5series.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

They now have plenty of good manufacturers but also have plenty of shitty existing.
So unless you go up and check the quality, otherwise i would stick with Taiwan stuff or italian replica.
they have better QC in general

I have fds in baby stuff biz, all they said european co check every shipment from china to ensure the goods received are within spec. and sometimes as seen on the news, it wasnt the factory didnt want to make good quality products but they were shafted by their suppliers. ![Frown](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/sad.gif)

So we have to pay for the inspection cost and storaging at the warehouse everytime before it can reach the customer.

That's right, Therefore, I never send out my company product to Japan, Lot of handling cost out of expected.

My company sources 90% of the packaging from China nowadays, while the materials were 90% from Europe.
Just give you an idea of the quality in my experience when dealing with chinese suppliers:
50% are crap, 30% are good but over priced, 10% are not keen on small quantity, and the only 10% left are good quality at good price.
So what i mean is you got to be very careful, you never know what they mixed inside the wheels,
The strength of the wheel are very important for the car, for me, i would pay more for the wheels![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

after installing the SBV2, now it is a BMW...
SBV2 is a key to unleash your car's real power....
and now the problem transfered to rims and tyres
btw... i still can't find a good place to place the switch...
it reflects on the glass at night....
