my friend has alloy wheel factories in China basically the quality is ok for normal daily use on higher profile tyres, but once you start using lower profiles and lowered suspension and hard cornering +potholes(which we do)then the stress is a bit much and he doesn't recommend it, he has had broken and fractured wheels returned to him as a complaint and hairline fractures are also found when people start to mod their cars (yes they do in China)

i think that anything >1000 is ok, try the style first and upgrade to different styles when you want to,

Just give you an idea of the quality in my experience when dealing with chinese suppliers:

50% are crap, 30% are good but over priced, 10% are not keen on small quantity, and the only 10% left are good quality at good price.

So what i mean is you got to be very careful, you never know what they mixed inside the wheels,
The strength of the wheel are very important for the car, for me, i would pay more for the wheels
