actually you are right bill. I am generally very happy with the car and bmwhk service, other than this jerky gearbox problem as mentioned + wish they could get the service completed in 1 day rather than 2.

but yes bmwhk should do simple stuff within 1 day like service the car.

you only need to change it when needed, abt 50,000 km??
by then if a Jap car at 6000km= changing 8.3 times x 300 per filter???=2500, so that is even bigger con!!
