i think what he is saying is the car was sold new at BH BMW then it was stolen and spray painted by the thugs.
he bought the car at the aucion. When he bought it had the keys and by the time it was shipped to UK the keys were gone.
This is not unusual. When we did the ED bmw they told us to take everything from the car such as medicine bag etc or it gets stolen.

but anyway, can you not go to the dealer with vin and proper paperwork to get the keys.

As for car being on the left hand drive, i think the may make it out to other country after being fixed as the eastern Europe, middle east and asia is the next growing market for used high end cars.
