Guys, my oil pan is leaking slowly, and over time what used to be top up by 1L every 3K-5K, now it is 1L every 1-1.5K. Just wondering if the pan leak is getting worse, or the engine starting to eat oil. On the clock 217K, OFHG is fine and valave cover is good with oil smell every now and then, plus the CCV was replaced recently.

Any other suggestions???

 

What's your engine? What is oil/filter change history on the car? If it is starting to use more oil, pull your plugs and see what they look like. Burning oil in combustion chamber will leave plugs fouled to some degree, with carbon deposits on them...
