Thanks.
It was the bulb... I bought the igniter though, let me know if you need igniter.
Thanks.

I've ordered some bulbs on Ebay. If the problem persists, I'll take you up on that.

Thanks & have a great day

My 08 535xi has a adaptive headlamp error on nav screen + dash + blinking led
BMW told me that the motor was bad but not under warranty b/c of my AE upgrade
Dont care about the adaptive head lamp as I have it set to off but cant stand the error.

Any recomendations?

Same thing with me ever since I bought my car ... I know it can be disabled by programming, however; not sure if disabling it would also cancel other features like when the lights rise as soon as you turn them on.

Let me know when you try a solution

If your head lamp is not fogging from the inside I doubt there is a leak into the lamp. I would just unplug it and plug it back in. Probably corrosion issue with plug.

Thanks guys... not sure what the problem was, but eventually the bulb gave up ... I replaced it with a new one, and it seems to work fine now.

good deal. didn't think it was anything to do with rain. However, when the weather does change it does cause things to act strange...ask a cow. And if you can't speak cow language, ask a girl with silicones. Heck these days, ask even a guy lol
