My Ride: E60 M5 & E45 325
My car is a 2007 M5 as I got my car from the dealership last year, I noticed that the headlamps had a lot of watermarks inside. It looked really bad especially when the lights are on. The dealership gave me a new set of headlamps. Now 6 months later, I noticed the same problem.
So I talked to another dealer who is closer to my house, and he told me that the E60 headlamps are vented that is why the water still can go in and dry inside. He told me he is going to arrange so that I can replace my headlamps under warranty with the new version headlamps and this will no longer happen.
Anyone, has experienced this? Is it true, what this guy in the other dealer is saying about vented headlamps?

I had my headlights replaced at the beginning of the year due to misting up when its damp. The new lamps they fitted were still made last year (feb and may i think) and although they are alot better they still slightly mist up occasionally.
