does this v1 really works?
Not always. I just got my second ticket in 30 years, 1 week after getting the V1. It was instant on Ka. I had no opportunity to slow down. I was clocked 70 in a 55 and got no break. The court date was yesterday but I paid a lawyer to deal with it. I'll find out the result with a letter next week.

see ... you said little to no room ... like someone who is a little pregnant So there is some room for discretion between little and NO ...

[ actually you typed litte ... is that how it's 'spelt' at Starbucks? ]

Wow.. so very hostile.

You are comparing two very different situations. Being pregnant and deciding if to issue a traffic citation are not at all comparable. An officer may - based on traffic conditions, time of day, and rate of speed of the other vehicles - be able to let you off with a warning. Therefore, I used the term ?little? to take into account these variables.

Anyways? the end of the day its still bitching about breaking the law and getting a ticket. In fact? I?m a federal law enforcement agent and have been ticketed myself even though my plates are registered confidential. I didn?t go around and cry to everyone about getting a ticket. I paid the fine and moved on with my life.

Sorry I typed fast and misspelled ?little?. My degree is in Criminology and not in English Composition.

HONK! =)

I've gotten a ticket once for going over 100 mph, the cop said he has to drive 110 just to catch me! He took a pic of my car after he gave me a ticket. I had to pay like about $400!

So pissed right now . ...was on the 405 N, by Harbor in CM doing about 85 and CHP cited me for speeding - was going a little faster than the flow of traffic but the guy had to be a moron and give me a ticket instead of a warning. don't these idiots have a better job to do?? like pull over guys that cut you off, or do 65 on the fwy, or chase down murders...etc..etc...

PS: i know i shouldn't be doing 85 at 7am on a weekday but i just needed to vent - besides, on the e60 we don't even feel the speed until we hit 100+.
Have you seen your state budget deficit numbers, everyone's getting a ticket for the forseeable future...

I have backed off my highway speed by 10 MPH, cops (revenue agents) are everywhere...

Sorry, but you too have been found guilty ... now, what was your defense?

I get it now ... but don't confuse me with the facts after I've made up my mind; unless you're pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or are the result of a pregnancy

OH BTW, sorry if you felt my post displayed hostile tendencies - my sarcastic wit comes from spending too much time writing one liners for Lewis Black! I would have been more cautious if I knew I was facing down a Federal Law Enforcement Agent.

Well thanks for all the comments Maco and Honk...

Meanwhile, I'll speed to my hearts content since 99% of the time I won't get a ticket thanks to "professional courtesy". =)
