voice only comes if your car has the Extended Voice Input option. If you didn't spec it you wont have it.

My Ride: On order 530D Platinum Bronze/Natural Brown Comfort seats,sunroof,PDC, Nav pro,Aux In,Xenons, Alarm, tinted glass.

And to add insult to injury it costs ?320 if you order it as an option and ?620 if you want to retro fit it.

My experience was actually opposite where-in I paid about half the option amount to retrofit it. Probably because I was the first UK retrofit being done by the Synter BMW group.

When I got the car the dealer said that the voice system is poor and to use the I-Drive.
