After looking at those lights I just want to get a check now to get the lights and maybe repaint.. If I buy the projector60s can any local BMW Indy install them or is there a special install or wiring? Also, can I just call state farm and request a check for me instead of them giving it to BMW directly?
Ok and will this get rid of my parking lamp malfunction error also?
I stay in Birmingham, Alabama

Alright, so I got estimates from two other places or at least tried to. The first body shop straight up told me that I would have to pay the difference to paint the hood and told me to get it done at BMW if their estimate includes the whole hood repaint. The 2nd place gave me an estimate for $3000, everything BMW estimated but did not include new bumper.
I called Stafe Farm afterwards and asked them If there was anyway to use aftermarket parts instead of the ones BMW was going to install. The adjuster researched it a little bit and contacted BMW collision center and called me back 40 min later. He basically told me that it was possible! He said that I would get a check for the right fog light, bumper, and headlight assembly halogens. Which is about $2,140 for parts. I was thinking about getting the projector 60 lights and m5 bumper with HID foglights. Which leaves me $840 cash in my pocket while my car gets fender, hood, new bumper painted and the projector 60 installed. Also clearing codes too if any
I tried getting a check for $3,641 but they told me I would have to have agent come look at my car. And the shape of my hood I thought they would make me pay the difference for painting, likethe other body shop had told me
Thoughts?
