E60 owners in the San Jose area, could you guys recommend some good indy shops to do an oil change, plugs, and coolant flush on an 05' 545i.

I know you're looking for an indy shop in San Jose, but if ever you're in the valley (Dublin area) check out Edge Motorworks. Good bunch of guys who know there stuff...
We've been taking our bimmers to them for the past 10-12 years now. From our e36, e46, e39's x5, and e60. Good luck man!

I haven't lived out there in a dozen years, but there was a shop called Palo Alto Bimmer that was absolutely amazing. My E12 had a differential mount failure and they took great care of me. If it's still up and running I wouldn't hesitate for a second to bring my E60 there.

I'm a relatively new 545i owner in the San Jose area.
I had an ignition coil go out and took it into Harding Foreign Auto in downtown San Jose. (Very close to my work). Quick work and washed my car afterwards, the owner was very nice. Not sure on the price charged as it was my first BMW repair and had no basis of comparison.
Just did my oil change and check up at Dinan in Campbell. They seemed to know their stuff and the prices were lower than other in the area I called. Shuttle service which I used, even though they are within a good walking distance of me (actually did walk back from home)

My Ride: 545 modded the F out
I've recently linked up with a very reliable and trustworthy guy who just started working at BMW of Fremont/ and Hayward as a tech. He lives in Castro valley and I believe is worth the drive to make from Fremont. He not only has a great turn around time, but will show great attention to detail and prices are very fair. He recently did my valve covers, changed my spark plugs and finally found the leak that was coming under the car after I had been searching for it after replacing several items. Shoot me a PM if you want his personal info as he works out of his home.
BTW as I mentioned he works at BMW so parts are discounted and the ability to scan/ code is also no problem
