Most of you knew my story was going to be that as soon as her lease was up on her current car she was going to take the X5 that I just bought and I would then get my M5. I guess I will be putting that on hold since there was a fantastic deal on an 08 6spd TL type-S loaded with an A-Spec package that my wife could not resist. I even tried to get her into a used 335, but she thought it was too small and she said if she were to get a new BMW is would be...are you ready for this?!?! "A 5 series"
She just thought spending $60K+ on another car was silly right now. So to her spending $30K was ok.
Don't get me wrong, this TL is very nice, great looking and very fast. It's a fantastic car. It's just not a BMW.
My wife plans on keeping this car for the next 3 years which means no M for me for 3 years. Hey things may change. After all she was going to wait the 20 months until her lease was done, but as soon as she figured out that she could trade the lease in and not be upside down in trade it changed her mind. This was going to be my plan, but she beat me to it! Maybe I can tell her a few months down the road that I'll just take her TL and for her to take my X as we previously planned...then trade the TL in for my M.
Anyway, goodbye for now everyone. Thank you all for your contributions that made my E60 experience and modding very pleasurable and insane at times. I hope to be trolling around the forums in the near future and hopefully some of you will still be around.
