They are definately worth it. I tought it was just some kind of gimmick but it sure isn't. I miss it when I drive my wifes car that doesn't have it.

Yes, they are great and I truly appreciate them when they work. The flashing LED means they are not working. I have made several trips to the dealer and still no joy. They work intermittently. The dealer has changed a headlight, the brake light switch and god knows what else. The challenge for them is that the system does not give them much information about the fault.
All I know is that I miss them turning with the steering wheel, look down and sure enough the LED is flashing.

My Ride: 2013 535i (White with Oyster Interior. Premium Package, Navigation, Technology Pacakge, Park Distance Control, and Rear View Camera)
Honestly I can't tell the difference while driving. I test it periodically to make sure they are working while I park my car in the garage. But when I am driving, I just can't tell.
