What's the stats on the other car?

There is no way G35 could beat BMW 545. G35 auto is low-mid 6s 0-60 car. Manuals can do 5.6 at best. I had a recent encouter with G35 coupe and it was no contest above 100mph. G is not geared to be fast at those speeds. The guy either kidding or does not know how to dryve SMG or it was a modded G35.

That's the upmarket Nissan? We don't see that in Europe.
I guess it's a V8.
Interesting stats. My diesel does 0-60 in low 6s, and 1/4 mile in 14.2. We haven't yet got a 545i to line up against a diesel

What's the stats on the other car?
Nissan 350Z R&T 3/05 5.6 14.1 101.8
Nissan 350Z C&D 4/05 5.8 14.3
Nissan 350Z Roadster MT 6/05 5.8 14.2 98.2
In principle, a 545i should take either car if stock.

It's actually a V6 and to clarify, I'm pretty sure we're talking about the G35 coupe and not the sedan...quite a difference in performance between the two.

Same engine: 280hp for Automatic and 298hp for manual.
I remembered seeing a .5 sec or so difference between the performances of the coupe vs the sedan but I'm not 100% sure. I could be wrong.
The last test of a 280hp G35 Coupe Aug 2004 from Road & Track has it at 5.9 secs...while the same magazine has a Steptronic 545 at 5.2.
