error message with the v6 cables

does anybody else get the error messages with the v6 cables? i get it 2 out of every 5 starts. it says left tail malfunction/ right tail malfunction. i thought these cables don't get error messages. but i guess they do.

I don't get any messages whatsoever. If I had to guess, I would say look closer at your tail light!
