Hi,

I own a E60 550i 2008. Starting with HVAC problem I decided yesterday take the car to a dealer and when they put the computer to check the faults, they decide to reinstall the car software.

After an hour finished, but the rear windows, rear locks, trunk lock and interior lights not working. All the fuses in the glove and trunk are ok.

Somebody knows what happened and how they can fix it?

Is this a BMW Dealership? If so they need to figure it out and put you in a loaner while it is there. It seems to me that the software did not take and it they have to reprogram from the beginning (factory).

 

Yes is a BMW, Porche and Mercedes dealer. I understand they tried to put the program of my car and nothing happened. I will go there tomorrow to figure out.

 

The dealer told me the Body Control Module had failed.

 

Well they need to fix it. It was not failing until they so called reinstalled the software
