Hello, there is a whining noise coming from the steering pump area. The steering fluid was very low when I bought the car last year so I top it up straight away and the whining noise still haven't gone since then. Is it really the pump or the could be the pulley? Althought its sounds more like a damaged pump, but beside the noise the steering is light and works fine. Below is the video of the whining noise. Anyone has any advice?

So hard to tell over the diesel noises! Just get a mechanic's stethoscope - best $10 you'll ever spend on automotive tools. With it, you'll be able to definitively locate the real source of the noise in less time than it took to upload your video. ;-)
