Default Power steering pump bearing noise

Has anyone replaced their power steering pump due to bearing noise? I'm getting a bit of a squeal on start up, then it goes away after a couple seconds.
I've changed both of the idlers and tensioner when I did the water pump. The squeal has been narrowed down to alternator and p/s pump. The alternator doesn't make any noise when I spin the pulley. The p/s pulley seams to make a bit of a knock when I spin it. I also sprayed a bit of penetrating fluid on the p/s pulley and it seemed to get louder when I started the car.
04 545i no active steering or dynamic drive. Just wondering if this is common. I haven't read any posts related to p/s bearing noise.
