Hi. My first post and after some extra advice if possible? Only picked the car up in December!
I have a few bits I need to do but my question is... is there anything in particular I should check or change while I've got it in bits?

I'm doing:
Swirl flap removal & seals
Exhaust manifold (cracked? Soot on steering column & smells)
Rocker cover gasket (leaking oil)

V belt x2 (squealing) - any advice on which belts to get?
Is there anything I should know before doing these?
I seem to be loosing power steering fluid slowly as well and there seems to be coolant splashed around below below rocker cover oil leak (in pic front of engine).

Any info helpful :-)

bump. Anything for water leak on front of engine, near top?

 

Water leak could be the EGR cooler. If it's been levered around the welds can crack. Could be the EGR thermostat has been replaced without replacing the O-ring.

It's probably the coolant leak making the belts squeal.

Rocker cover gaskets leaking are really rare on these cars - could be something else. Like diesel from an injector pipe.
