Default weird noise coming from suspension or wheels. please help!

Hi everyone. I have a 2005 530i with 78k miles on it. since I bought the car a couple of weeks ago I keep hearing a weird noise coming from my car. if I am not moving and I turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, towards the end of the turn the car seems to make a really weird noise. I have sports package on the car with active steering. I am guessing this is not normal that my car is doing this. please let me know what you think and if it can be fixed

I took a video as its hard to explain. please listen to it using headphone for maximum clarity of what I am hearing

Thank you

Does the noise happen when you are driving it sounds pretty normal. The sound should be coming from your steering pump. Do a flush and see if it continues. You have 80K on the pump and the fluid probably never been changed.

the noise happens whenever i turn the wheel lock to lock. IT feels like its coming from either the suspension or the wheels as there is a vibration in the steering wheel towards the end of turning the steering wheel all the way

I still think it is the pump. I could understand if it was a click but that is the pump working. THe old it gets the more noise it makes especially if you do not keep the fluid changed. There is nothing in the supension electric to make a continuous noise. You pump works as ou are turning. How long has it been happening. Have you tried someone else turning it while you listen where the noise is coming from?

I gotta say I don't really hear the noise in the video. Typically, power steering makes some noise when the wheel is turned to the stop. Not sure if that's what you are hearing - I don't hear it in the video.
