Hi Sam, sorry I can't get it any lower than that. Thats the best I can do with my friend's help. As for the install, I can confirm that I can do it. Dom is the guy who sells this interface. If you check in the parts and accessories section, you'll find the thread called, Video on nav or somthing similar, I forgot. Check it out. Apparently, its 485+85 for shipping, and normally it retails for 650. Check it out if you're interested. If you wanna PM me your number, I could probably give you a call and talk about what you need and your budget. As for 172s, there might be replicas for cheap, but other than that I only know how to get the 172 from the dealers, which I get no discount. Cheers...
Hi Pete,
Thanks for the information, so i think i will PM you my number so maybe we will decide later what to do with the Interface, Do you have any idea with the BREMBO BRAKES !
Cheers.
brembo brakes.... no idea but I'll try to find out.. I'll give you a call after my car goes through the paint care system tmr. i got it clayed and waxed, but not completely satisfied. Tomorrow I'm bringing it to Meguiar's to do the 5 step paint care thing. Wanna join?
Sawadee-Krub! Hi all, I am not from thailand but my wife is
Currently I live in Singapore and a Malaysian. Glad to see the establishment of Thailand E60 in this forum. I visit Bkk every 3 months or so and have always trained my eyes to spot the E60 there. I usually stay at the Emporium and always pass by the BMW dealership along Rama 4 turning into Soi 24. Never fail to glance at the cars there, and spotted a black E60 M5 driving out the dealership a few months back.
It is interesting to learn that the E60 in thailand uses different engine and also realized that imported cars in Thailand is not any cheaper than in the crazy car price in Singapore.
Anyway, I love to have the opportunity to establish friendship with fellow thai E60 and perhaps I can get to say hi to you all when I visit Thailand next time.
Meanwhile, keep the forum alive and cheers to a great weekend ahead.

I wish we will have as many thai members as like in other sub forums from HK and SINGAPORE but it's gonna take a short while as we are just IN now,
You are right, we have got different engines and specs. compare to other places as maybe you are well aware of the local taxes and the higher import duties on the imported ones,
Nowdays many many new E60s are on the roads and can be easily spotted anywhere in THAILAND specially in BANGKOK near SILOM, SATHON and specially the EKKAMAI -THONG LO area,
Tell us about your ride and it would be good to see some pics of your ride,
Thanks,
SAM
You are getting your car detailed at BMW SRINAKARIN? Isn't that German Auto? I dont' think you should get it polished, just sealant wax and a finishing coat for now, if you car is not even 1 year or 6 months old yet. To be honest, I would never let BMW detail my car, because I dont' think they take great care in every detail of your car. Just my opinion. At meguiar's i think you pay about the same, but over there they take good care of my car for me, always have. I dono what they do exactly but thats what they call it.
About the wheels for yuor car, I think you should go with some //M wheels. Like the 166s (dono if thats the right number), or the M6 wheels, or the 172, because your car have the M-Tech kit on there already. As for RPM, if you want the wheels, my friend will have to go and pay then you bring your car to install, or else those guys won't give us those special price...
I will call you once my car is clean...

Sam,
Forgot to tell yuo about the interface. I think you should get the iDrive controller unit, not the remote, your car will look more OEM. Plus with the remote, only ONE button is used, everything else on the remote is useless, only one button to change video source. I think you should get the iDrive 6-3 controller, meaning you will push the controller down to the 6 o'clock position then to the 3 o'clock position once to change video source. I think you should order it, don't miss this chance, its super cheap and its really really worth the money for what it can do. I trust the unit beacuse I've read so many good things about it in the past year. Cheers...

If you are curious about what I'm talking about when I say that you should go with //M wheels because your car is M-Tech, check this guy's car out. It looks just perfect. Thats what I want my car to look like, but some minor differences.
